In recent years, people are trying to oust sugar from their diet completely. We seem to be on the right track though some people also try to avoid the natural sugars in fruits and vegetables. This is something that we need to avoid. Fruits and vegetables should be abundant in every person’s diet. This is because of the fact that these will provide a host of nutrients, vitamins, minerals and fiber. These are nutrients that we don’t get much of in our normal diets. In truth, these are essential for growth of our children and the general wellbeing of adults. Not many people get their 5-a-day but once you’ve decided to start making smoothies on a daily basis, you should look at the different ingredients that you’ll be using. You should look at the nutrients provided by different fruits and vegetables and then put them in your smoothies. The taste will be great and the nutrients will be optimized for an active healthy lifestyle.
